Hi and welcome to the shit show!
After an unimaginable series of truly life altering events from 2019-2020, we decided to start: “Stay Wild Trauma Child”, the podcast. A platform where we discussed everything from everyday struggles to truly traumatic events. Most, if not all of our episodes will be highly sensitive and very controversial.
Our mission is to create a platform where people have a place to:
🌒 Feel seen
🌒 Grieve
🌒 Feel supported
🌒 Find laughter in the dark moments
🌒 Feel understood
🌒 Safely explore their trauma without judgment
🌒 Feel accepted
🌒 Celebrate the tiny victories
🌒 NOT feel 'behind' or broken
We want our listeners to feel normal in the abnormal and to give a voice to the unheard.
And as with any walk of life, the mission has evolved a bit since we have started. Don’t you worry, we are still committed to sharing the raw details of our healing journeys in the most authentic and humorous of ways. But now, we finally feel confident enough to start giving you new information, recommendations and resources that we’ve found along this emotional expedition! 🤗
Que drumroll for Season 2:
✨ The Demolition Diaries ✨
In this season, we will be heavily focused on both learning about and deconstructing the dozens of different psychological theories and breakdowns surrounding wounds, traumas, triggers and the maladaptive behaviors that we develop as non-constructive coping mechanisms.
⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING⚠️
We will be covering things such as (but not limited to) mental/emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, divorce, co-parenting, mental disorders, neurological disorders, sudden loss, addiction, loving someone who’s an addict, guiding your children through trauma and loss etc.
We are frequently checking in with each other to make sure that we are staying true to our tagline that’s been with us since day one.
“Learn
WITH us, not FROM us.”
We are not doctors or professionals and we most certainly don’t have all the answers (yet! 😉). But we DO feel that it is vital to provide real people (going through very real and very human experiences) with an honest, raw and relatable source to grow WITH.
Lastly and most importantly...
our biggest hope is that while exploring the many facets of life, liberty and LITERALLY the many different pursuits of happiness... we can help your inner child both to remember and feel safe enough to find their wild again. ❤️

always,
Steph & Jaim

We'd love to hear from you, send us a text!
We're BACKKKK!
A phrase that implies: "we've returned." when in reality, we didn't return to... anything really. This almost feels as if you have caught us in entirely new seasons of our lives.
Our podcast, in its entirety, is about change. And just like us, our podcast is going to be ever evolving, growing, expanding and changing.
In this episode, our aim is to shed a spotlight on our individual seasons of growth. We want to give you all a front row seat to the many small and intentional everyday changes we have been making that have been yielding some pretty huge results in our personal lives - while simultaneously wading through the trenches of our feelings during these positive changes. The past many months, we have been "on the ground" so to say, actively making those changes. Digging our hands in the dirt, sweating through exercises, meticulously penciling out our schedules (and our feelings), being truly present in our lives, re-learning how to nourish our bodies and really solidifying those healthy, life changing habits. During this process, we've both been putting some serious thought into how we incorporate our own personal change into our baby, this podcast.
Every person, project, lifestyle change etc that we have committed to during this season (and going forward) has been decided upon with a WHOLE-HEARTED YES. And our passion project, Stay Wild Trauma Child, will always be a whole-hearted yes. That being said, we are so excited to move through some tough feelings and discuss some hard earned lessons with you guys. Are you ready to put pen to paper with us in this season of your own life? We sure hope so.
Thank you for always making space for our journey!
